So, my 87 gl coupe has a vacuum diaphragm on the throttle (the part on the engine, not the pedal) that looks like it would go to cruise control. It's got about 2-3 feet of vacuum hose coming off of it, but it doesn't go anywhere. I looked it up on mitchell1 ondemand at school, and it looks like the cruise of an xt.

 

Does this mean that my car may be set up for cruise, or did they put it on all of em? Also, is this the xt setup, and if so, why would it be on my gl?

so, should it have the rest of the stuff needed to hook it up?

hey gang,so what is a good after market cruise control for a 84 brat?i want to do some serious cruzin and i have been spoiled by having a 88 wagon with it. so any thoughts? thank you ,todd

anybody? I would be really happy if I found out all I needed was a switch.
