I have an EJ22T donor car, and complete drivetrain out of an 07 STI, minus the engine. Is it possible to mate these together? I also have a thread on building the piss out of a EJ22T if you have thoughts on that. Its all going in an 85 Brat.

Yes they fit together. I'm not sure the 6MT will fit the Brat tranmission tunnel though.

the 6speed will not fit in the brat trans tunnel. unless you lift it a bit...

I have no problem hacking and fabbing a new tunnel if I need, it will need a bunch of modifications just to get the shift linkage to fit and work properly anyway. Do I need an adapter plate or anything to put the engine onto this trans?
