Well come to find out it wasn't the starter binding. Someone, I won't mention names, told me to take the EA 81 flywheel and change the step to the EA 82. But once in, the starter was rubbing horribly on the flywheel. So I pulled the moter again and compared the EA 82T flywheel and there was a big difference. So F.Y.I, if you decide to swap motors, make sure you have the correct flywheel for the engine. :horse:
