Anyway I need to do a clutch in my 97 obw and I was thinking about doing a little beefer than stock replacement but I'm not sure where I should go to look at them. And the misfire question I've been noticeing it happens a lot when I just drive the car but it still makes rpm but when it rains really bad or just rains the misfire is really bad and I'm not sure what it could be since I relplaced the plugs and wires last year Thanks in advanced for any feed back Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
idosubaru Posted April 1, 2011 Share Posted April 1, 2011 if the plugs and wires weren't from Subaru or OEM then i'd still be curious about the wires. i've seen brand new aftermarket wires cause misfires (on a 97 OBS) right out of the box. subaru wires are actually cheap. other possibility is the coil pack. are you getting codes and for which cylinders?
