New tires and rims for our '99 Forester

I've never been a fan of over-size tires but always felt that the stock 16" rims on the early Foresters left a bit too much empty space in the wheel well. Thanks to Dr.RX I got a set of 17" rims (OEM stock alloys on 2006 Legacy) along with a set of Goodyear LS2 tires in a 225/55-17 size. I think they look pretty good on my wife's daily driver.

I was a bit concerned that the tires would rub on the struts (especially in the rear), but there's sufficient clearance. I like the setup, but what's more important is that my wife likes it.:)
