Anyone ever done a FWD to 4WD conversion on a 1986 XT?

BIW is the same, so you need:

 

- transmission/linkage

- prop shaft

- rear suspension

- fuel tank

ive done it the other way, but i have done plenty on gl's. what about a 4wd xt drveline in a 2wd gl? that is what i am driving

its doable but unless the body is MINT than its too much effort, especially when 4wd Xts can be found fairly easily..
