How in the heck do you flip the rear seat bottom up so that the seat back will fold down flat? There seems to be a latch holding the seat from flipping up, but I cannot find anyway to release it.

You're looking for a strap that's tucked between the seat bottom and the seat back. It's at or near the center of the seat bottom. The strap is supposed to stick out but often does not. Just put your fingers in there and pull on anything feeling like a strap. You might pull part of the seat belts first but keep at it and you'll find it.

I don't know if it changed at all with the 2000 model (unlikely), but in my 97 OB, it is slightly off center towards the passenger side. By 8" maybe?

 

I hadn't flipped mine in years and was cursing the thing... Couldn't recall just how it released. :lol
