Ogrekhan Posted June 11, 2011 Share Posted June 11, 2011 Hey all, I'm looking at an 87 GL that a small time junker I know got in. It has a blown head gasket but other than that its in decent shape. I popped the hood and it is fuel injected "TBI" so I'm planning on grabbing that for my 83. No rear disks , but it has a good dual range 5 spd. What I am wondering is do I need to be concerned on the gear ratios in the 5 speed? Also would the rear wiper motor match my 83 or at least be able to used with mods? And lastly what other parts should I be snapping up? I might be trading him for a car I have sitting around so I can pretty much snag whatever I want. Thanks in advance for any info/advice!
