Pilot Bearing dimensions

Featured Replies

I'm looking for a pilot bearing with the dimensions of 33 OD, 12 ID for my FF-1 project.

From what I've been reading, the 80's models used the bearings and not the internal crank "bushings" and I want one of the 80's style bearings for my EA63 flywheel.

Does anyone have one handy to see what the dimensions are?

Here are dimensions for Napa bearing number BRG 62012RSJ

It appears they are 32mm od. Below is the sube's napa's information says they fit.

Clutch Pilot Bearing I.D. : .4724"

Clutch Pilot Bearing O.D. : 1.2598"

Clutch Pilot Bearing Width : .3937"

After seeing that list, I realized I still had a flywheel from my Impreza laying around.

I tested it out, the 32mm is just a touch too small for some reason :-\ It just slides right through!

Is there a "plus" sized bearing by any chance? I can't find anything listed at 33mm, and 33 might even be too large.

Son of a ***************!

Just went looking through one of my part manuals on a whim...

806212030 Ball Bearing 12x32.5x10

And amazingly, I had a left over EA71 flywheel with that exact bearing on it... Fits perfect!!! It is indeed .5mm larger!

Now I just need to find a new one...

Does it have a rubber seal on it? Look on the seal for a part number you can cross reference.

Otherwise 1stsubaruparts.com lists it for $18 and change.

I checked the bearing number, nothing matches it (searched the internet).

But ya, they are still available via Subaru. Just ordered one, will be here Saturday
