I just bought a 95 legacy wagon brighton model with a ej22 5mt. It had a bad bearing, but i'm swapping in a 91 motor, with the heads shaved .030" and i'm having a set of phase II 2.2l valves installed as we speak, now my question is will an ecu from a 2.5GT 5mt plug into my harness and run my engine. the reason i'm wanting this is because of the higher rev-limiter and higher speed governor. If it won't work do you have any sugestions. Thanks.

Within the last month, someone posted some info regarding the differences between 2.5 & 2.2 ECU's and IIRC, they were interchangable. I tried a search, but couldn't pull up the post. Maybe you'll have better luck than me, I know it's in the archives somewhere.
