How do i check the codes? This is in my 1987 gl hatchback. Thanks :)

There is a small hole in the ECU where a LED can be seen. You connect the black plugs together and turn the key to ON and then count the pluses. Long flashes are 10's units and short flashes are single units. Five pulses means a normal code.
