*Colorado Roll Call*

Featured Replies

How about a roll call of all the old EA owners along the Front Range?

I see plenty of them in my neck of the woods, but haven't met anyone from here around town, nor seen anyone who's actually serious about their old Sube. Be nice to get together and pool experience and work. I'll start:

Colorado Springs (smack in the middle of downtown), 3rd Sube, second EA.

I live in the Palmer Lake area. We've had lots of subarus in our family.

my first was an 86GL, and now we have our 84GL (affectionately known as Krusty) and '06 Baja. Coloardo snow is what sold me that subarus are awesome! that, and the abuse I dealt to my 1st 86 as a teenager. that thing just ran and ran and ran.

Im in Denver (shop) and Westminster (House), with an 84 Turbo Brat, 83 Wagon with a 2.2 swap.....and a lot more stuff put on and of course the wifes 06 Outback and a hatch I am selling (84 with 105K).

  • 3 weeks later...

I live in the Widefield/Fountain area in Southern Colorado Springs! Been away from Soob's for a bit. Have had 2 EA's in the past and am hoping to soon aquire another! Good to know there are a few in CO still.

Hey Sucker King, were those the screaming yellow Jackmans off of my wagon before the lift? TJ

Denver, near downtown, car died while I was moving so I ended up staying. She's running now, though not without a mystery our two and a few headaches along the way. Do you have a subaru shop, Shawn? In the last six months I've had once mechanic screw up, a dealer tell me I've done too much and they can't touch the car, and another schools me for it not being stock, though the last one was willing to do the work. I do a lot of my own work, but it's not ready with street parking.

Yep. Shop is the http://www.retroroo.com link on my signature. Its at 6300 E 88th Ave Suite 4 in Henderson which is at the corner of i76 and 88th.

I certainly won't make too many complaints about previous repairs/upgrades. Might give you advice on how to make things better but I love a well modded car. 720-440-1662 is the shop phone leave a message if I don't pick up I am out of the shop alot running errands and customers around and work really strange hours for an auto shop because of my kid being my "day" job.

Doh :banghead:

I have a couple non-pressing repairs coming up I won't be able to do, I'll give you a ring in a few weeks maybe! It's not like I've modded the car to the hilt. Yet. But it's enough to throw off the average mechanic. We'll see what happens :D

Congrats on the shop Shawn--wish you all the very best with it.

And please tell Marshall "Nick from Hawaii" said Aloha and Mahalo!
