i am toying with the idea of a 5spd swap... i have 2 working autos but the reality is that they are more trouble than it is worth...

 

 

i hve done a search here my didnt come up with anything substantial

 

i need wiring info so i dont get a CEL on after the swap, ABS wiring info and any helpful tips

 

this is being done to a 97 outback, mind that i already have matching rear diffs all i need is to get a 4.11 manual trans

 

any info is much appreciated

Only wiring that I can think of is for the reverse and neutral position switches. Clutch/neutral START switch (different than the neutral position switch) is a matter of hooking two wires together.

There is the MT/AT identifier pin on the ECU. It just needs to be grounded so the ECU does not look for the AT.
