cheap knock sensor

Featured Replies

Replaced my cracked knock sensor over the summer on 99 obw. Got a cheapo 20 sensor. Cel just came on. Bad knock sensor. What is your experience with these? Another part that needs to be oem? BTW. Reset ecm and cel stayed off, no stored code. Been a couple hundred miles now. Replace it?

A member is now selling aftermarket ones.

Search here.

They were very reasonably priced.

And I'd hope members will comment on their quality as time goes on.

i put a cheap one $14 ebay sensor in my legacy, works fine.. its one of those things that either works or it don't. theres no in between with them..

I've seen new aftermarket ones not work out of the box. Also had one that worked for 4 days before taking a crap. Most of the time they work just fine.
