December 24, 201114 yr 87gl-10 wagon. only 1 doesnt work. the drivers side. i rebuilt the drivers panel. all looks good. even checked with a known to be good switch. checked the motor goes up and down fine with hot power. checked the wiring to the motor with a test light.has power.. but very little and its inconsistent. jiggled wires watched the light...nothing.. im at a loss im going to take the wiring apart and check everything.. anybody have any experience with this problem? have power and grounds to all the right places..

January 17, 201214 yr Just for anyone who is wondering the problem was a broken connected under the carpet in the fr pass foot well. Funny.... I was about to suggest pulling the carpet and checking that junction. It was the red wires where they are crimped toghether, correct?
January 20, 201214 yr Author Exactly..this was of course discovered after I pulled the door off and removed the entire wiring harness and checked all the wires.. So I went to the relay under the pass seat then I just followed the wires and bam! 2 pieces of wire and 3 wire nuts later and I got windows again
