How do I run a bypass for fuel pump 87 GL SPFI

Featured Replies

Hi . need a quick fix on the easiest way to run a bypass on the fuel relay circuit. I just need to get it home its in Costco's parking lot and I would like to get it 2 miles without calling a tow truck. I don,t think that pulling down the ECU to get to the relay is viable for my situation either. It is to my understanding that when the key is in the run position the positive + is constant and it is the negative - signal sent to the the pump to complete the circuit. If this is true can I just connect a ground wire to the pump and limp it home ?

wire it into the + ignition coil terminal, so that is comes on with the key.

ire tie it into the fuse panel with the radio fuse or other that comes on acc
