bartbrat Posted January 24, 2012 Share Posted January 24, 2012 Hi folks, I'm trying to design a rollbar lightbar showbar that converts quickly to a light duty rack. I'm not designing it for roll over protection. A few extra lights added might be nice. I would like to deploy this without climbing into the bed or using tools bolts pins ect. If you like, go to YouTube and type bartdavis100 you can see the configuration rendered up on computer. If you have any ideas how to better the way it rest on the tailgate and keep it aesthetically pleasing while keeping with the quick deployment theme. I would appreciate the help. Oh, I shaped my tailgate trim out of a solid piece of aluminum so it will take The abuse. This rack would only be used if I happen to need to carry something long and relatively light.
