I got the trunk and fuel door cables working reasonably well but the door was not popping open. I found the little spring was missing that clips on the back. I called the dealer Friday but have not heard back from SA back east. Anyone had success with adapting another spring? or maybe even got a spring and/or whole fuel door assy. I could buy/ trade for???

I guess your just going to have to break the lil black nipple off so the door opens by hand like every Subaru ive ever seen/owned. But that probably isn't the way you wanna go.. I'm going to a Subaru graveyard in a lil while I'll see if i can find one that works and get some pics. You may. Have to rig it..
