I have a chance to pick up a pretty nice gen 1 snug top for my brat, but it is missing the body rubber seal. Has anybody replaced this or had experience using a generic rubber on the edge?

there are numerous threads and all end with someone claiming to just use garage door seals. But i have yet to see someone report back with that and post pics.

 

Well, that is how they end, and you know what, i have looked at garage door seals and various other seals, and nothing really fits the application. Not the right way.
