Today, I drove both my 88 gl wagon and 87 gl 3-door; outside temperature was about 45 F and I noticed that the whole dash area around the 87 3-door was extremely hot with the fan on the first setting and heat on full while the 88 wagon, with the fan that only works on the highest setting was not warm at all with the heat on full. Is the hot dash on the 3-door just from the 50W 1st resistor?
