April 18, 201213 yr Are you saying coolant is over flowing out of the Radiator overflow tank? Just had the same thing happend to my fiancés car this last summer, the Rad was clogged. New ones go for 120ish$ Is it over heating too? Comp I don't think would tell you much being that old, unless the cel is on.
April 18, 201213 yr Author yea its going into the overflow tank and i just put a new radiator in it 3 weeks ago and its starting to run a little hot
April 18, 201213 yr Author the belts look to be in good shape and the water pump was replaced around 4 weeks ago
April 18, 201213 yr Mk so pretty much the hole water system was replaced. Well the only other thing I can think of is a blown headgasket from I between the cyl and te water jackets. (causing pressure in the water system). Bubbles under the rad cap when its on? Did it get hot before you replaced all this stuff?
April 18, 201213 yr Author yea the old radiator sprung a leak when my dad was driving it home last month i was thinking it was a head gasket also but i dont think i will be fixing this one thanks for the info
April 18, 201213 yr No prob. There not that bad to replace your self. Took me 2 (weekend) with no exps. -Prwa
April 18, 201213 yr Use a Subaru OEM thermostat (if you are not already). They are like $15 and there is a big difference. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=126278
