i was wonderinf, my lifter tap started out about 2 weeks after i got her, around X-mas, and tonight after i finished puttin in my accel coil it was extremely loud, it kinda goes away whent he RPM's go up, but at idle its loud as heck.

 

how much longer do you think i can drive with it sounding like this?

 

im broke and need to redo the oil pump and/or replace the oil pump.

yopu could come to visit a trashwagon and you will be all right.

the lifter noise is no big mechanical deal, as far as it wont fail on you. the annoyance will be more your issue.

 

try doing the ol pump seals if that will help
