feels like.. coming out of my post office causes the car to lose a bunch of grip like it used to, Anyways maybe it's just me (doubt it) but the car is quicker to react and way less wheel spin.. I would almost get close to a half a rotation of the tire.. Now it's just maybe a chirp and that's it..

I currently have a 99 Legacy 2.2 4eat with 335,000kms on it and a 98 impreza 2.2 4eat with 225,000kms on it.

 

The Impreza's awd is nearly instantaneous when there is slip whereas the Legacy's rear end is lazy and slow to engage.

 

I'm not sure if it's the mileage or the maintenance history of the cars but the difference is very obvious so I completely appreciate what you're saying!

yeah I thought it was just me.. I mean my AWD worked still with the old transmission but this one just reacts quicker
