I'm about to start the modification of cable clutch to hydraulic clutch on my EA81 wagon but before I start gathering parts, who's done a similar mod and is willing to share details?

i have done it many times on EA82 cars. cant imagine its that much different on an EA81...

 

just pull the stock pedal box. put the hydro box in place. and drill 3 holes for the clutch master. and bolt it up...

 

just did one on my Subercoupe. took about 45 min.

That's good to hear. I've got a 2006 WRX pedal box on the way so will look into it. The dash is already removed so should be a piece of cake then

The heater pipes are very close to the throttle pedal on the EA81 cars so I'm not sure if there's enough space for the clutch lever/cylinder. Will check end of this week when I have the time to move the car out of storage.

Bumping this up thinking about trying it.   But does it work?
