1997 legacy outback abs

Featured Replies

taking survey on who considers easier route of fix of my bosch abs . Option 1 replace entire unit which entails removing 6 brake lines which possibly could not loosen with ease and then have to purge system. option 2. Rplace just the module which removes easily but not sure if i am opening pandoras box electronically if i remove the module itself. I have had miserable experiences with taking frozen brake lines off and not welcoming any problems from the 6 lines entering the abs. additionally, i know that the module interfaces with the mechanical side of the abs and not sure if that is riddled with potential problems by opening it. Anyone who has taken one apart could possibly share their thoughts to give me some level of confidence.

Welcome to teh USMB.

I believe I still have a few of those around. All of cars I couldn't drive.

They do vary.
