WOT Sputter 2.2 swap into 86 hatch

Featured Replies

Hey i have an ea81 1986 hatchback i have swapped over the 2.2 out of a legacy cut down the harness wired it up and it runs great aside from a sputter i get at WOT almost like it cuts out 2 cylinders.

I know i am getting fuel and i am using a surge tank so that is all well and good. This one has me kinda stumped if anyone has had a similar issue help would be awesome.

Thanks Rob.

Yeah i have been fighting with the fuel. It did occur to me that i have not hooked up the VSS yet, could that be my issue?
