I dont like how the radio is down under the cupholder... if its possible id like to switch spots for the two. The climate control spot looks like its the size of a single DIN... anyone tried?

with a drill.. I'm sure you could come up with something. the only problem is you wont have a top trim piece where the cup holders are.. I've moved the stereo Up and flipped with the little cubby thats there but the cup holders would be interesting since the mount is a little wider..

I though about this idea a while ago and I think I decided there wasn't enough room depthwise for the stereo in the top. Not all head units are the same length though. I'm sure it can be done.

The solution I came up with though was to swap the cubby to the middle hole and the radio to the bottom so I can see it and eject CDs while the cup holder is in use.
