Can anyone tell me if the automatic transmission from a 91 Legacy FWD is innerchangable with a 93 Legacy automatic that has AWD? If not can you tell me why?

the 4 wheel drive has an output shaft which has a slip yoke that turns the driveshaft.the yoke has to be in to prevent major leak.
