D/R trans, good price?

Featured Replies

Do you guys think that $125 is a decent price for a dual range transmission out of an EA82 with 130000 miles? I'm going to go pull it tomorrow. The yard owner looked up the core and is charging me that. Its known to be in good working order. I'll refresh it anyways and have it ready to go when I... need to replace my current one. :)

Also I might pull the rear differential and weld it up so I have it ready to swap in if I feel the urge. What's a good price to ask for that?

sounds like a good deal to me, I'd pay that for a D/R with 130,000 miles on it, I want one for my car, but am gonna have to wait a bit longer before I can afford to fork over the money for one.

I'd say somewhere around 30 too 50-ish bucks for the rear diff

Yeah that's a decent yard price, and with only 130k nontheless.

Last time I pulled a rear diff at the yard it was $85 I think.
