weber carb

Featured Replies

Thinking about switching over to a weber carb BUT I want to original look of the blue breather on it. Is there a way to make this work?

It will require modification to the OEM intake. There are a few on here that I have seen recently.

You basically have to modify the box shape of the Weber to the OEM intake and that means welding.

I have not done this but it looks fairly straight forward.

cut the small sides off of the bottom of the weber air cleaner assembly. cut out the stock one so that it clears the hole in the weber one. epoxy, bolt, or weld on the bottom.

if your keeping the stock air box, it will have all the mounting hardware on the sides as well. this means you wont even need sturdy work, just get it to seal decent and bolt it in.
