I'm busy tampering with my suspension in the yard and my car (EA81 Hatch) just died:eek:

 

Added a bit of fuel and put the car on level ground. Nothing!

 

Got some starting fluid. Ran for a second.

 

Pulled the line off my front filter and turned on the key. No gas!

 

Pulled off my power leads to the pump and checked for power. Nothing!

 

Ran up the wiring harness to the wires (I had labeled Fuel Pump??Not 100% sure I had the right wires??). Power!

 

Questions,

 

Are the fuel pump wires White w red stripes and black w yellow leading to the fuel pump?

Am I missing something or is the problem likely in the wiring?

How do I test the fuel pump relay?

Do they still sell relays and fuel pumps at the dealer?

Have I missed anything?

 

SUGGESTIONS?
