January 11, 201313 yr I do not see why not! There are basically only 4 bolts to undo to remove the dash and I do not believe the welded in mounts for these changed from '73 to early '77. I should qualify that by saying I only have experience with the '74 and '76 dashes... Never seen the early '72 - '73 dash in person so you would have to check the mountings carefully to make sure they match. I think the bigger problem would be the different wiring harness used....
January 11, 201313 yr It should fit. You can come check out the dashes on the Tailgate wagons vs. the lifted wagon if you want to be 100% sure, but they are the same body so it should work. -Bill
