I really like the blacked out trim they did on the front of the mid-late 70's front ends.

 

Definitely going the black route with my GL front end. You missing the hood lip chrome piece?

Thanks for comments, been riding since was a student, ea71 replaced by ea81.

300K km. on this body, frontal fascia been replaced , the original fascia was all black without chrome.
