New to Subaru and need to replace rear wheel bearing can any one help with instructions

I also need to replace my rear wheel bearings on my 88 GL. Please

remove the rear axles. the axles have roll pins on each end, drop the diff for room to take them out.

once the axle is out, the axle shaft can be knocked out tin the same manner as the front axle.

once that is out, the front bearing can be driven out with a hammer and a punch, or fat socket. the inner side needs a special tool, to remove the retainer, and them punch the bearing out from the front side.

i recommend replacing the seals, as most bearings only fail when the seals fail.

i cant tell you where to find a special tool, so that should be your next question
