I am building a 550 spyder replica and we are using a Subaru EJ20 2.0 turbo .My question is did subaru make a 2wd only trans that will bolt up to the EJ20 or has anyone modified the the all wheel drive trans to a 2wd .

I would think that a 2wd legacy trans would bolt up to an EJ20

yeah a FWD legacy trans should bolt up to the ej20 with no problems.

FWD's were available in the legacy from 90-95 I believe

They made < 1,500 in '96 and < 50 in '97, FWD Legacies that is.
