My idle is too high and the  adjuster screw is not even touching the throttle. is this a problem with the electric choke set wrong? runs well now that ive put some time into it but the idle needs to come down from 1500 to 7-900. anything will help

 

I had a problem with my cable being too short (tight).   If your cable is too short, it will not reach (with return spring) to your idle screw adjustment.   Maybe this will help.

check for vacuum leak and your throttle cable length. If this was a carter weber not hitatchi converted over to a 32/36 your length will be short on the cable

AHHHHHHH! it was the throtte cable. pissed me off, but now thats all well and good. thanks
