Suddenly my hood latch won't hold the hood closed.  All the individual parts work okay--the safety catch, the release cable, the arm that the cable pulls to release the spring-loaded catch.

 

I'm thinking It's missing a spring--where the red line is in the photo (if you can see the photo!)  Am I right?  Thanks in advance.

ive got a 91 lego and ran out and looked provided the latch is the same u should have a small spring there
