May 31, 201312 yr Anyone in the Seattle/Olympia area know of a place or makes one themselves? I am a volunteer driver for Catholic Community Services and thus are taking lots of folks that have folding walkers and wheelchairs but with my MB Quart in a box in the back sometimes its very tough to put the walking device back there in a safe manner. Can't afford too much but at least i can find out if someone makes one in the area
May 31, 201312 yr I've seen a powered amp & sub box that fits inside the spare tire. I don't remember who makes it but I think you can get it from Crutchfeild. Other than that, it's not hard to build a box to fit a 10" sub off on the side behind the rear strut tower.
June 1, 201312 yr What about the Subaru one that goes under the seat? You can't get much more "stealth" than that. My 2000 OB Limited has one; it's under the front passenger seat.
June 3, 201312 yr It's a compromise between sound and space. In the end there's no way the Subaru sub is going to have bass response like a 12" cone, but it's decent in the context of the car's sound system and it doesn't get in the way. It depends on your listening habits, though.
