My 1994 lopyale wouldn't start,took off dist. cap center post was fried,put in new plugs-rotor & cap. Now runs rough and barely makes it up a hill. Taking off from a stop light will hesitate,runs ok on the flats. Any toughts-thanks Mike.

Probably cooked the coil. Check resistance of the secondary winding, probably low.
