markloft
Can't find a similar thread already posted. The daytime-running-lights on my '05 Outback just refused to come on this morning, both of them. Never been a problem before. No other problems observed. Any advice on the most likely problem? Thinking it's not the bulbs, since both lights quit at the same time. Keep it simple, I'm only enough of a car-guy to be dangerous.
Fairtax4me
Always check the bulbs and fuses first. Does it use the headlamp bulbs for the DRLs? Or a separate bulb? Do the high and low beam headlamps work normally?
markloft
Can't check til I get home tonight, was looking for someone who may have had a similar experience. High and low beams seem to work normally. Will check bulbs tonight.

Gloyale
E-brake handle switch open or open circuit Edited November 22, 2013 by Gloyale
markloft
That was it! E-brake slightly engaged. Release the e-brake and the running lights work like they should. Thanks much!
