Removing the lift

Featured Replies

So the time has come where i feel that i love my car enough to not kick the s**t out of it anymore.  Id like to remove the lift and put street tires back on the pugs.  Would 225 60 14s fit the stock wheel height.

That's somethinfg you're gonna have to look up and compare yourself. Google a tire size calculator and compare stock tire size with the 225s you're looking at & go from there ... I just had to do that when figuring out how big of a tire I could stuff in the wheel wells of my hatch w/o any rub or lift. I did adjust the torsion bar & front struts as far as they'd go so I guess I gave it a little lift but I ended up with 205/70/14s on pugs .... I had 195/75/14s on my ea82 wagon with no lift.

195/65/14r's fit on my brat with rubbing on tight turns but if i crank up the suspension adajustment i dont think i would.
