suprjohn
hey all, so my door panels (especially the fronts) are pretty beat up. has anyone here ever tried to reupholster them? any input welcome! john
MilesFox
I have put carpet on the door panels, and on the headliner. Novel but jank. My las 95 legacy has camouflage fabric 3m adhesive sprayed tot he removable section of the cloth covered panel. Cloth with 3m spray would be neater than used carpet for sure.
Luvn737s
When I was into the 1st Generation Toyota Celicas, some guys had redone door panels, but they didn't look that great. You end up stitching them with very thin upholstery foam and then gluing with upholstery cement to the door card.
suprjohn
Thanks! I went out to YouTube and found some videos. Looks like it might be doable. John
