I Just performed a 2.5 to 2.2 swap form an older to new car(obd1 to obdII) (Thanks usmb for the help) and thought that i would do a code check just for fun.  the car runs great and has no driveabilty problems.

1:egr code (not on the new engine so not worried about that one)

2:p106(Map sensor rng./perform)- the car is running a MAF, I thought that cars ran one or the other and was just wondering is this car had both for some reason and if it has both what is the correct vacuum signal to hook into(the manifold or the throttle body)

There is aMAP sensor on the strut tower, next to a brown vac solenoid. The hose from this tees off the line that goes from the manifold to the fuel pressure regulator.
