December 13, 201312 yr just got it back on the road 2 days ago with a restored 2.2 and lovin it. Already got a ticket 20mph over.....opps! Anyhoo do we have suggestions? Would like to put it up about 4"ish Edited December 13, 201312 yr by danthecarman
December 13, 201312 yr check out the archives on this forum. Search for lift on a Legacy. I haven't done it, but read enough to know that transplanting in the strut suspension from a Legacy Outback is the route to take. I remember pictures posted of the transplant results. Pixs will give you a visual of what your car can look like.
December 13, 201312 yr Don't speed. Save your money. Lifting applies to the advice given for 1990-1999 models
December 14, 201312 yr Outback struts give 1", Forester springs give 1". Outback struts give clearance to run up to about a 28" tire IIRC. Which will give you another 1.5-2" compared to a stock size tire. You could also find a 2" lift block kit, but that requires much more work.
