Manual X-member for power rack?

Featured Replies

This is in regards to an EA81 P/S setup-

I cant really tell if it can easily be done. I know they're different, but it looks like I could make some adjustments.

I have both turbo (less pump & bracketry), and N/A setups to piece one together using whatever is the easiest.

My thought so far is to use the turbo line setup. There appears to be more room under the drivers side head than the passenger side. On one of the racks I have; two of the lines run down through the hole that the steering shaft comes through, thus eliminating any possible space issues. The turbo lines seem to make a tight enough curve for me to stick it in there and get away with just drilling the holes to mount the lines to the cross-member.

What are your thoughts and suggestions? Anyone done this before?

Thanks.

Here is a great ref pic by Pooparu from his brat build-thread. This is one of the racks that I have, but not the one I talk about.
