Hey yall, i found a smokin deal on a topper and jump seats for my 82 brat but they are from a 78 brat. Will they fit the same or did they change anything?

Oh yeah...also is there locks on most toppers? Has anyone come up with a way to lock the tailgate? Ive never seen a brat topper in person so im just curious before i drive to pick it up tomorrow
