94 Loyale seat brackets & sway bar

Featured Replies

Hey I had a question about the seats in the Loyale. I wanted to get some aftermarket seats. Would STi or certain bucket seats mount up? Or would I have to retro fit them in? Does anyone sell adapters? Also wanted to look into getting a rear sway bar. How does one if those mount in and where do I get one?

Also maybe an aftermarket steering wheel. How do I go about changing the wheel? Know anyone with a quick release or something similar?

Seats won'[t "bolt up" but can be done pretty ewasily with a few pieces of flat stock.

Steering wheel their are aftermarket kits.

Rear sway bar?  you'd need the sway bar and the rear trailing arms from an XT or RX model.  None of the others had the mounts.

there is a 2wd XT here in Corvallis at the wrecking yard. (B+R)  that would get you the bar but you'd still need the 4wd arms with mounts.  And the FWD sway bar is like 12mm or something small.  Turbos and XT6 got 19 or even 21mm bars.

Steering wheel adapters for EA82: you have to get 'em from Australia. Shipping to the US will be murder. Or you get real real lucky and one pops up on eBay (SAAS brand is the one that pops to mind) that is in North America somewhere....but then get ready for the bidding war making it almost as expensive as new from AUS.

AFAIK, the adapters available in the US are all manufactured by one company (Grant?) and are splined for Brats.

Easiest and most practical way is to make your own adapter using a spare steering wheel and some cut'n'weld skills.
