March 11, 201412 yr Ok so...the light is on on the dash. The car RUNS just fine. If I do not have to pass any inspections, is there any reason to go thru the hassle of changing my O2 sensor? I have a new Bosch and hear they are not the best anyhow. I will have more questions later as there are some tubes at the carb with screws in them deadheading them...Thanks guys! March 11, 201412 yr My SPFI came with Bosch from the factory. It has been replaced two times with Bosch with no problems. Sam
March 13, 201412 yr Author Thanks, you guys, but I just need to know where to look for it and where does the push-pull electrical connector go? NEVER replace a nut or bolt without never seize on it. YOU may be the one taking it off next time.
March 13, 201412 yr On my auto there is a wire that you can see from the passenger side. I think it is orange. This wire goes under the engine. If you trace it it should lead you to the oxygen sensor that is screwed into the exhaust pipe. To get to the sensor I had to partially remove the heat shield. The bolts are very rusty. You will need a lot of penetrating oil. Good luck, Sam
