the radiator on my GL wagon is done so I`m buying a new one, this older one has this 2 little electronic "sensors" i presume on the side, but I dont know exactly what they are or do. 

can anybody tell me what they are, so i can buy them new too.

Just replaced my radiator, just swap everything over and call it good, if everything is working chances are you don't need to spend the extra money:)

There should only be the one on the side, the radiator fan switch. The new radiators will probably come with an extra plug to plug the other hole in the pass. side radiator tank.
