Will Chrome 80-84 DL Station Wagon Bumpers fit on an 84 GL Station Wagon? 

 

Looking into a junkyard that is afar and picks and ships items. Just looking to see if the parts are compatible before we buy sight unseen.

 

Furthermore, are most DL/GL body parts compatible from 80-84 on wagons?

 

Any insight is valuable.

theres an overlap that I believe starts in 84, when they switched to the EA82 (loyale) body style but kept many older models in production for a few years.  be extremely careful when buying parts cause they get mixed up all the time.  personally I wouldn't buy things sight unseen due to how often things get mixed up.  even counter parts like disty caps and axles get mixed up all the time.

DL and GL trip isswappable between the same bodies. The DL might not have enough electrical harness to swap in power windows or rear speakers.

So yes, the bumpers will fit from 80-84 DL/GL.   Have them send a pic for verification.

In 85, the wagon went to a different body style... so the earlier stuff will not fit.  Also, the engine in the 85 wagon was EA82.

The 80-84 wagons had the EA81... as do the Brats and Hatchies until 87 (maybe 89)
